I have learned from doing the genre analysis task that pop song music videos have specific conventions and signifier’s that indicate that it is a music video for a pop song. This is very stereotypical and obvious. These include aspects such as definite themes throughout, which involve 1 or more people (usually a couple). Throughout most pop music videos love stories are shown that unravel a story. Finally glamour is always shown throughout.
